Beginners • Bluetooth Keyboard w/ touchpad not connecting on OS boot

Hi All,

I searched through the forums and other sources looking for a solution.

I am definitely a beginner, I am using my old Raspberry Pi 2B to turn it into a portable cyberdeck.
Also am going to learn some python as a cheap hobby.

I got a refurbished BK08 bluetooth keyboard with touchpad as the primary input, with a touchscreen display.

The issue I am having is that whilst I managed to get as far as connecting it via bluetooth dongle, and making it trusted, it still won't automatically connect on boot. I don't know if it is never going to do that, if scripting is needed, or i am doing something incredibly noobish.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Details below.
