Hi all,
i am building a small project with an RaspberryPi 4 and a Waveshare 15.6" Touch Display (https://www.waveshare.com/15.6inch-hdmi-lcd.htm).
In the beginning everything worked fine. The screen was working greate with the Pi. (I powered them with a individual power source)
But i want to put them both inside a hard briefcase with a big power bank as power source.
I am using this one: https://www.amazon.de/dp/B09XTZY3G2?psc ... ct_details
I connected the Pi to the USB output of the power bank and the screen over a voltage converter (to get always exactly 12V) to the 12V ouput of the power bank (depending on the state of charge it outputs 11V - 16V).
Then i connected the HDMI cable at the Pi and the screen.
I was then working on other stuff and noticed after some time that the screen does not show any image.
Then i tried several things: new HDMI cable, another monitor to test the Pi, connecting my Notebook to check if the screen is working.
Btw the touch was working with my notebook
The Pi and the screen are working basically (screen has backlight and i can open the input menu. The Pi powers up and is reachable over SSH). I think the HDMI controllers on both devices are dead but i don't know why.
Now i bought the Pi and the screen again. But before destroing it again i would like to fix my problem.
Do anyone know what could be the cause for my problem?
I attached a small overview. Thanks and kind regards
Patrick
