Media centres • Network media server question regarding jellyfin and security/firewall

Hi everyone. I have a media server set up on our network using the Rpi4. Its working fine. I would like the media server to be blocked from the internet ,unless I give it access, but have full communications on the local network. Could I just have a firewall running on the Rpi4 server set up to not allow it to have access to the internet but allow local access? Then just deactivate the firewall when I do want it to access the internet? I'm rather new to firewalls setups, so if that would work, what rules would I need to set up?
