Hello Pi community,
I'm new to the raspberry pi hobby and I can't seem to get my Arducam camera to work with my Pi4. I've read through a lot of thread regarding enabling the camera in the interface, which the option is not there anymore, or in the config, which is also absent. I have a fresh copy of the latest OS installed. I've also read a few threads indicating that the newest OS is a plug and play and doesn't require you to manually enable or disable the camera, is this true?
I've tried sudo libcamera-hello, and got this error message:
ERROR: *** no cameras available ***
sudo libcamera-still
sitll getting the same error message.
sudo libcamera-vid
same result.
I checked and reconnected the ribbon to the camera module and to the pi4 a few times to make sure that all connections are secured.
Since the camera is a third party product, do I need to download additional software to make it work with Pi4?
Date Tested: 03/17/2024
Thank you in advance!!!
