I have set up a RPi3 with RTL_433 and a SDR dongle and I can receive data on the console. I also have Node Red installed with the RTL_433 node and that boots up and sees the dongle saying "Listening" with a green square, and indeed the same data is received. All working fine.
However, if I move both the dongle and the microSD card to a different RPi3 and boot, I can still receive data and can see the dongle on the console, but the Node Red node reports "Stopped" in red and no data is received.
I thought moving the SD card moved every thing necessary so I am curious as to why I am getting this issue. Is there some firmware actually embedded on the RPi3 itself?
I haven't tried RPI-UPDATE but might that help?
Thanks
