Hello. I am new to working on Raspberry Pi specifically working on a Rasperry Pi Zero for a wearable camera setup. What I'd like to do is have the camera power-up at power on and begin recording video. Specifically I'd like to output the video to a different storage drive than the onboard SD card carrying the boot OS and applications.
Essentially steps I'd like to take are:
Raspberry Pi Zero Powers On--from power button (I know how to program this)
Raspberry Pi Zero launches Camera system
Video Records when camera
Video is stored to external storage device (SD Card/Flash Drive)
Raspberry Pi Zero Powers down--from power button (I know how to program this)
My main issue is figuring out either the Python scripting or configuration modifications to make the middle work. I'd appreciate any input on this. Thank you.
