Hi all,
My new Raspberry PI 5 using an original 27Watt adapter sometimes blinks the green light 8 times when connecting it to power. (SDRAM Failure).
However, when I use my Nintendo Switch adapter it never has a problem but tells me in the desktop that I not have 5A. Otherwise it runs fine.
On the original adapter it's 50/50 if it turns on. It either starts rapid (green) blinking 8 times or just boots. When it boots, as soon as I shutdown, it will not turn on again and starts blinking 8 times in orange. The Switch adapter (underpowered) does not have this problem.
Now before I replace my power adapter (which is almost new) I just wanted to check with people here if it could be another issue. If not then I guess my power brick is somehow defective.
Thanks in advance.
