Beginners • Need help with temperature sensor and display project

Hello everyone,

I am in need of help with my first ever attempt of doing something with a raspberry device.

What I am trying to do is this:

• 1x pi pico W will be used to read a pipe temperature sensor output, this pico shall send that data to a server.
• 3x pi pico WH with display, these shall read data from server and display it.

The questions I currently have:

• Is the purchased sensor even going to work with a pico? I went into this thinking I could just wire the wires to pico but after some more investigation it seems that I will be needing some kind of an adapter?
• Can I later add some kind of a speaker to the pico + display combo? I will probably like to have some kind of an audio cue if things start getting too hot.
