I got the Pimoroni NVMe Base and copied my SD card (that contains an up-to-date Raspberry Pi OS) to a Samsung SSD. Now I can boot perfectly fine from the Samsung SSD.
I would like to resize the root partition though, so I can add some more partitions. My plan was to boot from the SD card again and use gparted to resize the unmounted root partiation on the SSD.
In raspi-config I set the boot order to prioritize the SD card but it always boots from the SSD. I didn't change anything on the SD card. It still should boot? What could be the reason for it not working?
