Hi all,
I am running a Pi5 8gb as a small server for Minecraft en Home assistant. With the new Minecraft version 1.20.6, I now get an error when trying to start the server. It says that the java version installed on the Pi is not recent enough.

Error: LinkageError occurred while loading main class net.minecraft.bundler.Main
java.lang.UnsupportedClassVersionError: net/minecraft/bundler/Main has been compiled by a more recent version of the Java Runtime (class file version 65.0), this version of the Java Runtime only recognizes class file versions up to 61.0

I have searched, but I dont see how I could install JDK 21 or JDK 22 on my pi5. If I follow the instructions on https://docs.oracle.com/en/java/javase/ ... F3ED4C247C for debian based OS I get the measage that the architecture is not supported.
dpkg: error processing archive jdk-22_linux-x64_bin.deb (--install):
package architecture (amd64) does not match system (arm64)
Errors were encountered while processing:
jdk-22_linux-x64_bin.deb

Does the Pi5 have a different chip architecture than the previous pies?
Is there a way to fix this? I have tried ubuntu on the pi, it worked. But I like Raspbian a lot more than ubuntu.

Thanks in advance!
