I just bought a Raspberry Pi 5 with 4GB RAM and I want to run it as a headless system to use for Home Assistant (just one security camera and automatically turning on/off privacy mode somehow), ARR stack torrenting (just downloading, not seeding) by finding a magnet from a torrent search (how?) and downloading it, then using Samba to connect to the downloaded file from my laptop and download it (or even better stream it?).
If it was just for Home Assistant I would use Home Assistant OS and call it a day. But if I want to use ARR stack or something similar and then download or stream the file from the pi5, which OS should I use? Remember, this will be a 100% headless system, but I might need to remote into it to search for torrent magnets as I do not want to use my laptop for that (privacy, malware and virus risk etc).
